It has long been a custom in the Church to say this prayer of petition on 30 consecutive days. I will leave it on the main page until Good Friday for those who want to continue it while still in Lent.

This lenten prayer for the children shall consist of saying "Lord Jesus Crucified, have mercy on us", at least 14 times a day in honor of the 14 stations of the cross. It begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Good Friday.
